With soaring heat densities from AI and hyperscale workloads, operators face extreme pressure to slash PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) and WUE (Water Usage Effectiveness). Traditional open cooling towers consume enormous amounts of water, risking environmental rejection in water-scarce zones. Additionally, airborne contaminants in open loops cause scaling and clogging in plate heat exchangers or server-side microchannels, leading to fatal localized overheating.

CRONX (formerly CASEN) deploys advanced Closed Circuit Cooling Towers to isolate the critical data center loop (pure water or glycol solution) entirely inside heavy-duty, seamless coil bundles. To conquer the high-OpEx challenge, the integrated smart control system runs in pure air-cooled Dry Mode during winter to bring water consumption to absolute zero, while leveraging evaporative latent heat in Wet/Hybrid Modes during peak summer, dramatically shaving down the PUE metric.
