Supply of counterflow evaporative condensers of various sizes to a professional refrigeration engineering company in Mexico for its large-scale industrial ammonia refrigeration project, meeting requirements for efficient heat dissipation, water saving, and freeze protection under multiple refrigeration units and various operating conditions.

Situation
A refrigeration engineering company in Mexico, a local professional refrigeration service provider founded in 1996 with nearly 30 years of experience, has long provided refrigeration system solutions for food processing, cold chain logistics, and other industries, and has previously engaged in trade with Chinese suppliers. Northern Mexico experiences hot summers and low winter temperatures, and water resource management has become increasingly stringent (2025 Water Law Reform, worsening drought in some areas). While undertaking a large-scale industrial ammonia refrigeration project, the company needed to deploy multiple high-efficiency, water-saving, freeze-protection condensing units of varying capacities.
Task
As the project general contractor, the customer required the evaporative condensers to meet the following:
Product specifications must cover a wide range of cooling loads from small to large;
Compatibility with R717 ammonia refrigerant system and material compliance;
For the hot summers and cold winters of northern Mexico, the evaporative condensers must provide stable heat dissipation performance;
Equipment must be compact, easy to ship in containers (Ensenada port as main import gateway), and easy to install on site.
Action
The evaporative condenser manufacturer customized a combined solution based on the customer's technical requirements, using multiple counterflow evaporative condensers to address the cooling needs of different refrigeration units:
adapted for small refrigeration units;
adapted for medium refrigeration loads;
meets larger-scale refrigeration needs;
adapted for main refrigeration units approaching large industrial cooling;
serves as the core large condensing equipment, handling the highest load cooling tasks.
All units feature counterflow, axial fan, induced draft design, offering high heat exchange efficiency, low power consumption, compact structure, and easy container transport. Coils and materials are fully compatible with R717 ammonia refrigerant, meeting international safety standards.
The manufacturer provided full-process support: from factory commissioning, international logistics (container shipping suitable for import through Ensenada port, Mexico), to on-site installation guidance and operator training, ensuring batch delivery and smooth installation of all 8 units.
Results
8 units successfully delivered and commissioned on first attempt, operating continuously and stably for 12 months without failure.
Multiple specifications precisely matched the load of each refrigeration unit, significantly improving system energy efficiency, with comprehensive water saving rate ≥ 40%.
